Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy applies to the Android apps NetoolPro, Network Command and ShareQuote , published by LogiCodes ("we", "us", "our"), and to the website logicodes.pages.dev.

In short: our apps need no account or login, and we do not collect, store or sell your personal information. Our apps show ads through Google AdMob, and Google may collect certain device data to deliver and measure those ads. This is explained below.

1. Information we collect

LogiCodes does not collect, store, share or sell any personal information from the apps. We do not require registration, and the apps do not access your contacts, photos, microphone, camera, SMS, call logs or precise location. We run no servers that receive your app data.

2. Advertising: Google AdMob

Our apps display banner and interstitial ads provided by Google AdMob, a third-party advertising service from Google LLC. When an ad is requested or shown, AdMob and its partners may automatically collect and use:

Advertising ID (a resettable identifier on your device)
IP address, and an approximate location derived from it
Device and app information (device model, OS version, language, app name and version)
Ad interaction and app usage data (ads shown, clicks, session information)
Diagnostic and crash information related to ad delivery

Google uses this data to serve and measure ads, which may be personalised, to prevent fraud and abuse, and to improve its services. We do not receive this data in a form that identifies you. Google's own policies govern how it uses it:

3. Your choices for ads

Reset or delete your advertising ID: Android Settings → Privacy (or Google) → Ads.
Opt out of personalised ads: Android Settings → Privacy → Ads, or visit adssettings.google.com.
Users in the European Economic Area, the UK and Switzerland: where the law requires consent for personalised advertising, ads are shown only in line with your consent choices, which you can change at any time.

Opting out does not remove ads. It only makes them less personalised.

4. Permissions

The apps request only what they need to function and show ads: Internet access, network state and the advertising ID permission (com.google.android.gms.permission.AD_ID). The apps do not read your files or personal data.

5. NetoolPro: network tools

NetoolPro runs tests that you start yourself (ping, traceroute, DNS, WHOIS, SSL, port and LAN scans, SSH, Telnet and others). The hostnames, IP addresses and domains you enter are used only to perform that test. Some tools contact third-party services at your request, such as public DNS-over-HTTPS resolvers (Cloudflare, Google), WHOIS servers, a MAC-vendor lookup service and a public-IP service. Those services receive only the data needed for the lookup and have their own privacy policies. Recent hosts and trusted SSH host keys are stored only on your device and are deleted when you clear app data or uninstall. Passwords and private keys are never saved. Please scan only systems you own or are authorised to test.

6. Network Command and ShareQuote

These apps work without collecting any data from you. The only third-party data processing is the advertising described in section 2.

7. Website analytics

This website uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count visits and show countries. It does not use cookies, does not track individuals across sites, and does not build personal profiles. Links to Google Play and other sites are governed by their own policies.

8. Children's privacy

Our apps are not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Ads are served by Google, and if you believe a child has encountered unsuitable content, contact us and we will act on it.

9. Data security and retention

Because we do not collect personal data, we hold none to secure or retain. Data stored locally on your device stays there until you clear it or uninstall the app. Data held by Google is subject to Google's retention and security practices.

10. Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example under GDPR, UK GDPR or US state privacy laws), you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data, or to opt out of its sale or sharing. We hold no personal data about you and do not sell it. To exercise rights over data held by Google, use the controls linked in section 3, or contact us and we will help.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The effective date above shows when it last changed, and material changes will be posted on this page.
